Monroe Municipal Court Information
The Monroe Municipal Court is conferred with authority to decide disorderly persons offenses, traffic tickets and ordinance violations issued by the Monroe Police Department within the 42.23 square miles of the municipality. The court also has jurisdiction to decide charges of a similar nature issued by members of the New Jersey State Police patrolling the 1.34 miles of Interstate 95/NJ Turnpike falling with the township. The court is located a 1 Municipal Plaza, Monroe Township, NJ 08831 and can be reached by telephone at 732-521-4020. Court sessions are conducted on the first, second and third Tuesday of the month at 9:30 a.m., the fourth Thursday at 3:00 p.m., and all other Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. The judge of the municipal court is Honorable George Boyd. Directions to Monroe Municipal Court
From New Jersey Turnpike/Interstate 95. Take Exit 8A and follow signs for NJ Route 32 East/Jamesburg. You will merge onto a ramp that leads to Forsgate Drive. After about approximately 2.3 miles, Turn right onto Perrineville Road. You will reach Municipal Plaza/Veterans Way in 1.5 miles where you need to make a right. The court will be directly ahead.
From New Jersey Route 33. Turn right onto Perrineville Road and proceed for 4.5 miles. At Municipal Plaza/Veterans Way turn left and you will enter the court parking lot.
From New Jersey Route 18. Exit the highway at Union Hill Road and merge onto Union Hill Road. In 3.3 miles turn right onto Englishtown Road/Old Bridge-Englishtown Road. Turn left onto Mounts Mills Road in approximately .3 miles. Turn right onto Buckelew Avenue in 2.2 miles. Turn left onto Schoolhouse Road and continue for 1.4 miles straight onto Municipal Plaza/Veterans Way.
