Ryan Farrell is a former Middlesex County Assistant Prosecutor who now represents clients in Superior Court, Municipal Court, and Family Court matters throughout New Jersey. His experience is directly relevant to Middlesex County criminal defense because he prosecuted hundreds of cases in the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office from 2021 to 2024, including matters involving attempted murder, aggravated assault, and firearm offenses.
While serving as a prosecutor, Mr. Farrell successfully tried cases and participated in one of the first Middlesex County cases under the New Jersey Courts’ Attorney-Conducted Voir Dire program. He also served as faculty for the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General’s Advocacy Institute on that subject, giving him advanced experience in jury selection, trial presentation, and courtroom advocacy.
Today, Mr. Farrell uses his prosecutorial background to defend clients facing serious criminal charges, domestic violence allegations, final restraining order hearings, traffic matters, assault, harassment, disorderly conduct, contempt, and weapons cases. For clients in New Brunswick, Piscataway, Woodbridge, Edison, Sayreville, Old Bridge, and surrounding Middlesex County communities, he offers recent, county-specific insight into how cases are investigated, prosecuted, and tried.
